"Hi, my name's Lisa, and tomorrow, I'm going to run the freakin' Chicago Marathon...and I'm kinda excited about that!"It's Emily again—yesterday I had breakfast with Lisa at the same diner restaurant where we put this marathon idea into action last spring. We plotted out the coordinates of us friends who will be cheering her on all day tomorrow...every few miles, she'll be supplied with Gatorade and whatever else she tells us she needs. (I may also try to incorporate a few silly motivational items along the way...)
At 8:00 am tomorrow, Lisa will begin the end of this marathon journey. By dinnertime, she'll be relaxing and recovering. For the time in between, she's going to be one of the most awesome people I know.
